SonarBell® Products
SonarBell® units are made in a number of sizes and materials to deliver maximum performance.
The overall size typically determines the amount of energy the SonarBell® captures and consequently its range. We are making an increasing number of sizes available in order that users can match their performance requirements with the optimal physical size and weight of the SonarBell®.
We currently make the SonarBel® in two materials, one for lower frequency requirements, 120kHz and below, and one for the medium frequency band 100 to 650kHz, these are known as SonarBell LF™ and SonarBell® respectively.
We will in due course make available a SonarBell HF™ which will work from 650kHz upwards.
The range of frequencies for which we have specific optimised SonarBell® units “on the shelf” can be seen below. If you don’t see one that matches your requirement then please contact us.
Please note that we also make SonarBell® units available as Calibration Targets. Because of their solid state construction, the SonarBell® provides a convenient calibration target with a set target echo strength.

SALT Ltd have designed a SonarBell® to operate at low frequencies. The SonarBell LF™ is available in a variety of sizes and frequencies:
